Obituary

Zetta Elizabeth (Beth) Scott Perkins was born to Lloyd and Melba (Rogers) Scott on May 16, 1937 in Thomas, Oklahoma and passed away peacefully at her home in Thomas on Monday, May 27, 2019, at the age of 82 years old.

Beth attended Thomas schools graduating in 1955. When in school she was active in band and was football homecoming queen and Thomas sweet potato queen.

She married Eddie Perkins on December 17, 1954. They made their home in Canton but soon moved back to Thomas. In 1962 the couple and their 4 children moved to the family farm S.E. of town where they farmed and ranched with Beth's parents.

Beth was a great mother and friend to many. She was very active at the First Baptist Church. Her passion, like her mother, was for missions. Beth went as a sponsor to Falls Creek Camp many times. Of special interest to her was the Oklahoma Baptist Home for Children. She and the family sponsored several children at their home. Beth was a devoted Christian who shared her faith with everyone she met.

Beth is survived by her son Brad and wife Carmen of Thomas; daughter Tammy of Childress, TX; son T.C. and wife Kristi of Thomas and daughter Michelle Pruitt and husband Benny of Thomas. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Loren Holman, Tanner Pruitt, Anna Pruitt, C.B. Perkins, Zack Perkins, Kasey Whitson, Dakotah Davidson, Tahte Davidson and eight great grandchildren; Layla, Hunter, Knox, Khree, Gracie, Karter, Rhusti, and Zadie.
She is preceded in death by her husband Eddie, parents Lloyd and Melba Scott, and in laws Clyde and Hazel Perkins.

Memorials may be made to Oklahoma Baptist Homes for Children or First Baptist of Thomas.
