Winnie Mae Gather was born August 27, 1940, in Hobart, to Woodrow Kelsey and Muriel Bernice (Evans) Ragland and passed away Friday, November 15, 2024, at Bellevue Health and Rehab in Oklahoma City.

Winnie was raised on a farm and attended school in Cloud Chief and later graduated from Hobart High School in 1958.  She made her home in Weatherford where she raised her family.  She moved to Mustang and later moved to Burns Flat from 2003 to 2021 when she moved into the assisted living center in Oklahoma City.  Winnie enjoyed working in her flower gardens, crocheting, cooking and spending time with family and friends.

Winnie is survived by one son, Terry Gather and wife, Eleanore of Oklahoma City; one sister, Anita Zavadil and husband, Jon of Columbus, Nebraska; six grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by parents; two sons, Richard and Raymond Gather; twin sister, Glenna Taylor; and one brother, Noble Ragland.
