Wilma Lee Smith was born January 25, 1943, in Weatherford to William Lloyd and Fannie S. (Eash) Bahney and passed away Monday, October 24, 2022, at River Valley Skilled Nursing Center in Clinton, at the age of 79 years, 8 months and 29 days.

Wilma was raised and attended school in Weatherford, graduating with the Class of 1961.  In 1962, she married Don Patterson and made their home in Weatherford.  Wilma moved to California for 5 years and returned to Weatherford in 1969.  She worked at 3-M from 1974 to 1977.  Wilma married Ronald Smith October 7, 1977, in Clovis, New Mexico and made their home in Weatherford.  She enjoyed ceramics, crocheting, her cat and spending time with family and friends.  Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Mission Trips.

Wilma is survived by three sons, John Patterson and wife, Joanne of Glennville, Georgia, Jim Patterson of Weatherford and James Patterson of Amarillo, Texas; two step-daughters, Terri Hutchings and husband, Kevin of Edmond and Jerri Shepherd and husband, Rusty of Clinton; sister, Mary Beth Stelting and husband, Jerald of Weatherford; niece, Phyllis Bettag of Amarillo, Texas; one granddaughter, Amber Patterson of Glennville, Georgia; and one step-grandson, James Ronald Lynn of Glennville, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ron Smith; and three sisters, Dorothy Keil, Nelva Ruth Swope and Carolyn Sue Floyd.
