Funeral services for Willie Ruth Sims, 81 year-old former Hydro, Oklahoma resident, will be held Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. with Holden McCrackin officiating, in the chapel at Hydro Masonic Cemetery, under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Willie Ruth was born October 28, 1931 in Eakly, Oklahoma to Joe and Leota (Goad) Montgomery and passed away Monday, September 2, 2013 at her home in Longview, Texas. Willie Ruth was raised and attended school in the Eakly area and graduated from Eakly High School in 1950. On July 2, 1952, she married Max Sims and made their home in Carnegie. They moved to Hydro in 1954 and Weatherford in 1980. Willie Ruth worked at 3-M in the coding department before retiring. She moved to Longview, Texas in 2004. Willie Ruth enjoyed being with her family, crocheting, and reading. Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.

Willie Ruth is survived by two sons, Rick Sims of Longview, Texas and Roger Sims and wife, Jayme of Winnsboro, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one brother, Volon; six sisters, Lura, Thelma, Elvie, Hazelen, Jewell, Zetie; and one son, David Earl.
