William Ralph Wittmeyer was born on December 11, 1944, to Ralph and Mary (McGuire) Wittmeyer in Frederick, Oklahoma, and passed away on Friday, December 8, 2023, at the Integris Hospice House in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 78 years, 11 months, 28 days.

William was raised and attended school in Frederick, Oklahoma, graduating with the class of 1962. On August 17, 1963, he married Glenda Grubbs in Blair, Oklahoma. They made their home in Watonga, Oklahoma. He worked in numerous services in the oilfield from 1972 until retiring in 2020. William enjoyed hunting quail, striper fishing, riding 4 wheelers, and being with family.

William is survived by his two sons, Timothy Wittmeyer, of Weatherford and Scott Wittmeyer and wife, Tina of Edmond; granddaughter, Alyssa Friesen and husband, Jake; and two great-grandchildren, Leif and Greer Friesen. He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; and sister, Charlotte Ann.
