Funeral service for William Donald "Donnie" Sodders, 76-year-old Hydro resident, will be held Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the First Christian Church in Hydro with Pastor Rick Dyson officiating. Burial will follow at Hydro Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Donnie was born on October 20, 1942 to Kenneth Edgar and Opal Gladys (McBride) Sodders and passed away on November 16, 2018 at Weatherford Regional Hospital. He was raised and attended school in Hydro, graduating from Hydro High School in 1960 with 12 years of perfect attendance. After graduating from high school, he went to draftsman school in Oklahoma City. He returned to Hydro and began farming with his family. He married Treva Kaye Rosser on June 4, 1962 at the Pleasant Valley Church and they made their home south of Hydro. They were joined by two sons, Roger Don in 1963 and Robbie Wayne in 1968. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Hydro. Donnie enjoyed hunting, fishing, and shooting and was a member of the NRA. Most of all, he enjoyed farming and ranching and caring for his horses, mules, and land.

Donnie is survived by his wife, Kaye Sodders; one brother, Phillip Sodders and wife Patricia of Hydro, Oklahoma; two nieces, Stacey King and husband Mitch of Weatherford, and Vicki Reed and husband Darrell of Corn; one nephew, Darrell Ingram of London, England; two great-nieces, Lyndsey Taff and husband Brady of Thomas, and Danielle Baker and husband Brant of Butler; three great-nephews, Jeremy Pebley and wife Lisa of Weatherford, Koby King and wife Whitney of Arapaho, and Derick Ingram and wife Ashton of Weatherford; and numerous great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Roger Don and Robbie Wayne; and one brother, Allen Wayne.
