Funeral services for William Robert "Bill" Lehman, 76 year-old Weatherford resident, will be held Saturday, February 5, 2022, 2:00 P.M. in The Chapel of Lockstone Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Rockwell Cemetery under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Bill was born February 6, 1945, in Ft. Benning, GA to Robert Raymond and Veva Zoe (Knack) Lehman and passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at Corn Heritage Village of Weatherford.  Bill was raised and attended school in Columbus, Georgia with his father being in the military.  On June 3, 1963, he married Marlen Angelika Gault in Columbus. Bill worked as an autobody repairman and then started his own little business, The Lock Doctor, as a locksmith while living in Georgia, then he operated for 35 plus years in Weatherford.  He also had Green Acres Farms where he raised rabbits, miniature horses, and game birds.  They moved to Weatherford in 1985 where he continued his locksmith business.  Bill enjoyed camping, animals, working with his hands and in his shop, and helping his friends when he could.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Marlen Lehman of their home in Weatherford; two daughters, Barbara A. Safley and husband, Leslie of Weatherford/Washington and Mary Jane Dancisin of Colorado Springs, CO; one son, Donald Robert Lehman and wife, Debbie of Clinton; ten grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents.
