Funeral services for William Donald Bill Barnett, 81 year-old Weatherford, Oklahoma resident, will be held Saturday, May 13, 2017, 10:00 A.M. at Mound Valley Cemetery in Thomas, Oklahoma with David Barnett officiating. Services are under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home of Weatherford.

Bill was born October 6, 1935, in Chickasha, Oklahoma to William David Oval and Beatrice (Smith) Barnett and passed away Monday, May 8, 2017, at Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Bill was raised and attended school in Cement and later in Chickasha. He graduated from Chickasha High School in 1953. On June 27, 1953, Bill married Patricia Carter in Minco, Oklahoma and they made their home in Chickasha. They moved their family to Thomas in 1968 and he started working at 3-M and in 1984 moved them to Weatherford. He retired from 3-M in 1995. Bill enjoyed yard work, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and spending time with friends and family. Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.

Bill is survived by his wife of 63 years, Pat of their home in Weatherford, Oklahoma; one son, David Barnett and wife, Terry of Thomas, Oklahoma; one daughter, Donna Hartline of Weatherford, Oklahoma; one sister, Peggy Glynn Haire of Claremore, Oklahoma; six grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Diane Barnett; son-in-law, Jimmy Hartline; and one sister, Eva Ruth Welch.
