Memorial services for William Bill Carson Lindsey, 66 year-old Weatherford, Oklahoma resident, will be held Saturday, April 29, 2017, 11:00 A.M. at the Pioneer Event Center with Pastor Earl Stephenson officiating. Services are under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Bill was born February 8, 1951, in Raleigh, North Carolina to Edward Lee and Willie Bea (Carson) Lindsey and passed away with his family by his side, Monday, April 24, 2017, at Weatherford Regional Hospital in Weatherford, Oklahoma. Bill was raised and attended school in Raleigh, North Carolina and graduated from Enloe High School in 1969. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War working with the Titan Missile Program. On December 15, 1973, Bill married Jackie Owen in Oklahoma City and worked at Chemotrone Company. He brought Del Rancho to Weatherford in 1978 and in 1981 opened Past-Times. In 1982, Bill opened The Grill until its closing in 2006. On October 10, 2005, he married Sheila (Booze) Thompson in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Bill worked at Lucilles Roadhouse from 2006 to 2008. He was self-employed in the oilfield from 2008 to present time. Bill enjoyed hunting, fast muscle cars, guns, ham radio, and spending time with family and friends.

Bill is survived by his mother, Willie Bea Lindsey of Raleigh, North Carolina; his wife of 11 years, Sheila Lindsey of their home in Weatherford, Oklahoma; one son, Billy Lindsey of Weatherford, Oklahoma; one daughter, Tracie Raibourn and husband, Darin of Edmond, Oklahoma; one step-son, Larry Booze of Seattle, Washington; one step-daughter, Candace Thompson and Travis Payne of Colony, Oklahoma; one brother, Stevie B. Lindsey of Raleigh, North Carolina; two sisters, Sandra Lindsey and Susan Lindsey of Raleigh, North Carolina; aunt, Jean Carson-Parker of Raleigh, North Carolina; mother and father-in-law, Jerry and Dorlis Meier of Weatherford, Oklahoma; and two grandsons, Dalton and Logan Raibourn; three grandkids, Riley, Trigger and Paizley Payne; one niece, Stephanie Hicks; and one nephew, Michael Lindsey. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward.
