Funeral services for Willa Kathryn (Babe) Cole, 97 year-old Hydro, Oklahoma resident will be held on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at 10 a.m. at St. Eugenes Catholic Church in Weatherford, Oklahoma.

Willa was born on May 27, 1915 in Hydro, Oklahoma to Claude and Bertha Elizabeth (Bean) Frost and passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Weatherwood Assisted Living in Weatherford, Oklahoma. She was raised in Hydro and graduated from Hydro High School in 1933. She attended Oklahoma A&M for one year before marrying Charles Cole on Jan. 21, 1934 in Oklahoma City. They made their home in Hydro, Oklahoma until they moved to Montebello, California in 1936. They raised four children, Richard, Lynn, Sara and Pam before moving back to Hydro in 1969. Willa was an administrator at Maple Lawn Manor in Hydro from 1969 through 1977. She enjoyed Garden Club, church activities and spending time with her family.

Willa is survived by her children; a son, Richard Cole of Victorville, California; a son, Lynn Cole and his wife, Peggy of Hacienda Heights, California; a daughter, Sally Jordan and her husband, Harvey of Claremont, California and a daughter, Pam Klaassen and her husband, Terral of Hydro, Oklahoma; ten grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles, one brother, William and three sisters, Wilma Skorczeski, Pearl McKeen and Claudina Baker. Memorials may be made to the Hydro First Responders.
