Will Rogers Davis was born on August 26, 1935 in Hobart, OK to Samuel Ronald and Lola (Dutton) Davis and passed away on Monday, June 29, 2020 at Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, OK having reached the age of 84 years, 10 months and 3 days.
Will was raised in Lake Valley in the Rocky area and attended a rural school. Will met and married the love of his life Moeta Noblitt on October 28, 1955 in Hobart, OK. He enlisted in the Army for 20 years and was stationed in Germany, Alaska, Georgia, Maryland and served 2 tours in Korea, retiring out of the military in 1975. He worked at the soil conservation in Altus and later the civil service for 10 years before retiring in Mountain Park. Will enjoyed fishing, camping, and Lake Texoma. He made 3 RVing trips to Alaska. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Will is survived by one son, Brian Davis and his wife, Ruth of Stillwater; one daughter, Janice Lewis and her husband, Clayton of Southlake, TX; one daughter-in-law, Cyndi Davis; seven grandchildren, Samantha Davis, Heather Lewis, Brianna Peterson and her husband, Caleb, Ginger Vaughn and her husband, Kasey, Chelsea Tapani, Sage Lewis and Derek Davis; seven great-grandchildren, Romelle, Alexis, Pepper, Oakleigh, Mikel, Basil and Mace; two brothers, Bob Davis of Spring, TX and Pat Davis and his wife, Jackie of Delight, AR. He was preceded in death by his wife, Moeta; one son, Delbert; parents, Samuel and Lola; three brothers, Ronald Jr., Fred, and Dale; and one sister, Helen.
