Funeral services for Whynona Doris Easter, 80 year-old Weatherford, Oklahoma resident, will be held Monday, February 16, 2015, 10:00 A.M. at Emmanuel Baptist Church with Rev. David Lawrence officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Whynona was born April 9, 1934, in Ralls, Texas to William Robert and Maudie Myrtle (Whited) Schluter and passed away Thursday, February 12, 2015, at home. Whynona was raised and attended school in Ralls, Texas. On December 20, 1950, she married Willie C. Easter in Ralls, Texas. Whynona worked as an operator for General Telephone Company, WalMart, and Texas 4-H Center while living in various towns in Texas and moved to Weatherford, Oklahoma in 2009. She enjoyed painting, quilting, crocheting, spending time with her family, and making friends.

Whynona is survived by her son, Craig Easter and wife, Lydia of Weatherford, Oklahoma; her sister, Joyce Lorain Schutte of Fredericksburg, Virginia; two grandchildren, William Chad Easter and wife, Jenaof Hinton, Oklahoma and Audrey Ann Shephard and husband, Derek of Butler, Oklahoma; and three great-grandchildren, Jayven Renee Easter, Deacon Eli Shephard, and Blakley Ann Shephard. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Willie Easter.
