Funeral: 2:00 PM Monday, December 19th, 2016"The Chapel" of Lockstone Funeral Home

Funeral services for Wanda Fay Thomasson, 88 year-old Weatherford, Oklahoma resident, will be held Monday, December 19, 2016, 2:00 P.M. in The Chapel of Lockstone Funeral Home with Bro. David Lawrence officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery

Wanda was born July 18, 1928, in Anadarko, Oklahoma to Theodore Vernon and Ruby Lee (Robrecht) Emmons and passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2016, at Corn Heritage Village of Corn, Oklahoma. Wanda was raised and attended school in Anadarko, graduating from Anadarko High School. On August 9, 1947, she married her junior high sweetheart, Gerald Ross Thomasson, and they made their home in Anadarko. Wanda worked as a phone operator, picked cotton, and worked at the Anadarko Peanut Plant. They moved to Weatherford in 1967 and she worked in the East Elementary school cafeteria. Wanda enjoyed crafting, crocheting, reading, painting, watching westerns, cooking, gardening, and spoiling her grandchildren. She was active in the National Guard Womens Auxiliary.

Wanda is survived by two daughters, Pam Laubach of Weatherford, Oklahoma and Susan Stogsdill and husband, Tom of Plano, Texas; four grandchildren, Cory Sauer, Amber and Ryan Bell, Cara and Rodney Little, and Anna and Dan Hinman; and ten great-grandchildren, Kinley, Barrett, Kara, Coby, Evan, Nolan, Ian, Zachary, Brandon, and Nevaeh. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Betty Venable; brother, Elmore; and son-in-law, Mark Laubach.
