Funeral services for Wanda Fern Roberts, 79 year old Oklahoma City, Oklahoma resident, will be held Monday, July 8, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. in The Chapelof Lockstone Funeral Home in Weatherford, OK, with Rev. Tim Travers officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Weatherford, OK, under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Fern was born on April 20, 1934 in Spanish Fort, Texas, to Lawrence and Ora (Smith) Lambert. She was raised in Spanish Fort and attended Prairie Valley Schools. She married Ted Roberts on July 10, 1049 in Nocona, Texas. In 1964 they moved to Perryton, Texas where they raised their four children, Larry, Jim Vanessa, and Brent. Fern was a homemaker and enjoyed antiques, sewing, cooking and spending time with her family. Later in life she enjoyed working as a clothing store clerk and continued to work as an antique dealer throughout her life. In 2001 she moved to Weatherford and later she moved to Oklahoma City to be closer to family.

She is survived by her daughter, Vanessa Baileys and her husband, Clifford of Edmond, Oklahoma; two sons, Larry Roberts of Weatherford, Oklahoma and Jim Roberts and his wife, Kathryn of Edmond, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ted; two sisters, Shirley and Melba; one brother, Weldon; and one son, Brent Roberts.
