Wanda Juanita Hamilton was born September 9, 1926, in Rogers, Arkansas to Elia "Bud" and Minnie Estella (Hart) Taylor and passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2019, at Weatherford Regional Hospital, at the age of 92 years, 6 months, and 28 days.

The family lived in Arkansas and moved to Leedey, Oklahoma when Wanda was a toddler. She was raised southwest of Leedey and attended Liberty Center School and graduated in 1945. Wanda worked as a nurse aide at the Weatherford Hospital. She married in 1947, made their home southeast of Weatherford and raised her family. Wanda loved singing at church and sharing the word of God. She enjoyed embroidery, spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, and canning fruits and vegetables. The family remembers her cooking and baking dinner and cinnamon rolls.

Wanda is survived three daughters, Estella (Aubrey) Jones of Denham Springs, Louisiana, Patricia Kendell, Joyce (Phillip Williams) Dudek all of Weatherford, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Michelle Sullivan, Myron (Mandy) Coleman, Miriam (Brad) Everett all of Denhem Springs, Louisiana, Heather (Stephen) Oulliber of Aurora, Colorado, Heather (Albino) Garza of Clinton, Oklahoma, and Tiffany (Jim) McClung of Edmond, Oklahoma; nine great-grandchildren, Dewey and Sarah Johnson, Josh Moran, Grace and MaryKate Coleman, Ryder and Easton Everett, Aryanna Garza and Hayden Seabolt; two great-great-grandchildren, Jude Moran and Bentleigh Wallick; one brother, Buel Taylor of Fort Dodge, Kansas; and one sister, Dorthy Thornton of Grants, New Mexico. She was preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law, Dwayne Kendell; three brothers, Avery, W.D. "Bill" and Buddy Taylor; and two sisters, Alene Partain and Evelyn Bentley.
