Wallace James Watt was born in Clinton, Oklahoma on February 18, 1943, to Paul James and Elizabeth Judith (Thessen) Watt and passed away in Thomas, Oklahoma on March 17, 2026, at the age of 83.
Wallace was raised in Putnam and attended school at Independence and Custer City, graduating from Custer City High School. After high school, he obtained a government job in water conservation services and kept this job throughout his life. Wallace lived in Clinton, Thomas and Eufaula over the years. Eventually, he returned to Thomas and stayed there.
He enjoyed fishing and being on the lake and loved the time he spent living on the lake in Eufaula. Even in retirement, Wallace would mow at Eufaula Lake.
Wallace is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Richard, J.C. and Rodney Watt and one nephew, Rick Watt. He is survived by his nieces, Paula Hamar and Jean Ann Moore.
