Funeral services for Virginia Marie Lantz, 72 year-old Thomas, OK area resident, will be held on Monday, April 17, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at the First United Methodist Church with Kip Heatly officiating. Burial will follow in the Mound Valley Cemetery of Thomas under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Virginia Marie Lantz was born December 11, 1944 in Enid, Oklahoma to Mabel (Stein) and Lindley Lantz and passed away Friday, April 14, 2017 at Corn Heritage Village in Weatherford, Oklahoma at the age of 72.

Virginia lived in Thomas until the age of 2, when her family moved to Rogers, Arkansas. They returned to Thomas after two years and Virginia graduated with the Thomas class of 1962. She made her home in Thomas, Oklahoma while she attended college at Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Virginia moved to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and worked at Liberty National Bank and Trust for over 10 years. In 1977, she returned to Thomas, Oklahoma to be closer to her family. Virginia enjoyed playing piano, needle point, counting cross stitch, trips with Roxanne, embroidery, and travelling. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Thomas, Oklahoma.

Virginia is survived by a host of cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 sister, Janice Louise; and her grandparents.
