Virgina Ruth (Doyle) Roberts was born January 6, 1930, in Electra, Texas to James Ralph and Gertie (Allen) Doyle and passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2020, at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 90 years, 4 months and 20 days.

Virgina was raised and attended school in Electra, Texas and later moved to Oklahoma City where she graduated from Northeast High School with the Class of 1949. She attended Central State in Edmond for a year before she married Wayne L. "Duggan" Roberts in 1950. Virgina was a wedding consultant for Dillard Stores. They lived all over the world before settling in Oklahoma City. Virgina enjoyed working, politics, library time and spending time with family and friends. Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.

Virgina is survived by one daughter, Vicky Gilliland of Weatherford, Oklahoma; one son, Robert Roberts and wife, Sandy of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son-in-law, Gary Gilliland.
