Funeral services for Viola Omega Patterson, 88 year-old Hydro, Oklahoma resident, will be held Friday, December 12, 2014, 10:00 A.M. at the First Baptist Church in Hydro with Terry Flansburg officiating. Burial will follow in Hydro Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Viola was born February 12, 1926, in Geary, Oklahoma, to Dorman and Beulah May (Mackey) Coppage and passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2014, at Weatherford Regional Hospital in Weatherford, Oklahoma. Viola was raised west of Geary on a farm and attended Wilson Rural School. She married Clarence Robert Patterson and made their home in Hydro. Viola raised her family and worked alongside of her husband. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, her pets and animals. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church in Hydro.

Viola is survived by two daughters, Shirley Patterson and Viola Sue Patterson both of Hydro, Oklahoma; one son, Harvey Patterson of Hydro, Oklahoma; and two grandchildren, Marie Morris and David Aaron Patterson. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; four sisters, Genevieve, Nina, Grace, and Sally; and four brothers, John, Dorman, Jim, and Richard Coppage.
