Funeral services for Tressa Edwina Kelley, 79 year-old Weatherford, Oklahoma resident, will be held Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. in the Federated Church with Rick Connelly officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Edwina was born March 13, 1934 in Cloud Chief, Oklahoma to Clyde and Hyawannah (Baird) Ward and passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2014 in Corn Heritage Village of Weatherford. Edwina was raised in the Cloud Chief area and graduated from Cloud Chief High School in 1952. She attended University of Oklahoma and later earned her Bachelor Degree in Education from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Edwina taught in Arapaho Schools for 4 years and then Weatherford Schools. She loved working with the young people teaching English, History, Geography, Government, Political Science, and Yearbook. She later worked in real estate and land man work. Edwina enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, bird watching, writing, theatre, and geography.

Edwina is survived by one daughter, Tracy Henson and husband, Kevin of Weatherford, Oklahoma; two sons, Paul Kelley of Enid, Oklahoma and Pat Kelley of Weatherford, Oklahoma; two brothers, James Ward and wife, Linda of St. Louis, Missouri and Tom Ward of Mesquite, Texas; one sister, Treva Wolfe and husband, Jim of Allen, Texas; five grand-children; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Michael Kelley; and one granddaughter, Chasity Vandiver.
