Todd Jeff
Sutton
March 23, 1959 – April 28, 2019
Memorial services for Todd Jeff Sutton, 60, Weatherford, will be Saturday, May 4, 2019, 2:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church with Earl Stephenson officiating. Services are under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.
Todd Jeff Sutton, a kind, loving man who was loved by all who knew him will be missed, and our time with him will always be cherished. Our "PaPa" was a caring and loving husband, father, son, and friend.
Todd's story started on March 23, 1959, the youngest child of Frank and Ruby (Foreman) Sutton. After his birth in Clinton they made their home in Hydro. Several years later, Frank and Ruby moved their family to Elk City where Todd attended school, spent his childhood, and made lifelong friends. He graduated from Elk City High School in 1977.
After graduation, Todd tried his hand in the oilfield and college life before finding himself back in Hydro where he landed a job with 3M in 1979. Todd had found his forever job, and also met his wife of 38 years, Jamie. They married in 1980, and made their home in Weatherford.
Five years later they were blessed with their first son, Kyle, followed three years later by son, Koby. Todd loved his sons more than anything. He took them camping, fishing, and played with them in the yard where he would laugh and film them for hours. He considered his sons his greatest accomplishment.
In 2014, Kyle married the love of his life, Gena. Shortly after we were blessed with two beautiful grandsons, Bryar, 2 ½ and Rydge, 10 months. Bryar thinks "PaPa" hung the moon.
Todd enjoyed spending time with his family, cooking out, fishing, and laughing. He especially loved all his "PaPa" time.
Those dearly missing him at home are his wife Jamie Sutton of their home in Weatherford. Son Kyle Sutton, wife Gena and grandsons Bryar and Rydge of Arlington, Texas. Son Koby Sutton of Weatherford. Parents-in-law James and Judy Smith of Weatherford. His sister, Debbie Kepley, husband Ken of Prince George, Virginia. His parents and one brother Jeffery will be welcoming him home.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Alzheimer's Association or to a charity of your choice in Todd's name.
