Obituary

Timothy Wayne Franz was born in Clinton, Oklahoma on October 25, 1949.   He was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and a man of faith. Tim died on October 5th, 2024, at Saint Anthony's Hospital in Oklahoma City, at the age of 74 years, 11 months and 10 days. He was raised by his parents Archie and Genevieve Franz on a farm north of Corn, Oklahoma where he acquired his strong work ethic and his love for sports.

On June 1st, 1971, he married Suzanne Leisher, the love of his life. They eventually settled north of Corn where he farmed with his dad Archie. As a father, he built a strong bond with his three children Mike, Todd, and Amy through work, fishing, and sports. He loved them all equally, but everyone knew Amy was his favorite. They shared a special daddy/daughter bond full of farm rides in the combine, short road trips, movie dates, and horseback riding.

A man of quiet grace, Tim's laughter was a gift to those around him. His sense of humor brought light and joy to countless moments, filling his home with warmth and his family's hearts with cherished memories. He adored his grandchildren, whose laughter often matched his own, and he delighted in watching them thrive.

Tim lived his faith in a unique way. He loved serving at church and singing in the choir. He participated in Christmas pageants, programs, and events. He loved working with others in the church and always looked forward to doing his part as a Christ follower. He lived out his faith most with the love he showed his whole family.

He leaves his legacy of laughter and love to his wife of 53 years, Susie Franz, his children Michael (Rachelle) Franz, Todd (Tisha) Franz, and Amy (Scott) Hoffman; his grandchildren, Baylor and Hudson Franz, Sawyer and Rawley Franz, Garret, Tyler, Addie, and Jordan Hoffman; his siblings Rita (Randy) Williams, Richard (Jeannie) Schmidt, Phil (Daneille)Schmidt, Lori Kliewer, Russell (Suphawan) Schmidt, and his circle of friends
and extended family.
