After Terry was born, he was brought home to Colony and that's where he stayed. He attended Colony schools where he was active in 4H and FFA. He enjoyed raising and showing pigs and cattle. Beginning in 1968, Colony students became part of Washita Heights Public Schools, along with students from Corn. Terry graduated from Washita Heights with the Class of 1976.
Terry was a hard worker. He farmed and worked for the County Commissioner mowing and truck driving. Border collies and cattle dogs were his favorite to train and work with.
As Terry's mother, Louise, began to age and moved into assisted living, he was a great caretaker and visited her daily. He was also very patriotic. He had great respect for the military and pride for his family that served their country. Throughout his life, Terry always enjoyed farming and gardening. He will be greatly missed by his family.
