Obituary

Funeral services for Tammy Louise Handrahan, 62 year-old Elk City resident, will be held Friday, July 5, 2024, at 10:00 A.M., in The Chapel of Locks tone Funeral Home in Weatherford, Oklahoma with Pastor David Lawrence officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, in Canute, under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Tammy was born August 12, 1961, in Lincoln, New Mexico, to Alvin and Loretta Hoffman and passed away peacefully Sunday, June 30, 2024, in Elk City.  Tammy was raised in Sentinel by her loving parents.  She had a wonderful childhood growing up on the farm near Sentinel.  While at the farm, she learned to become a hard worker. She had many fun adventures with her siblings growing up on the farm.

After graduating from Sentinel High School, she met Stanley Keith and later married and had three children. After the passing of her first husband, she met Paul Handrahan while out dancing and fell in love. They were married 1986, and together they would have many happy years raising their children, Stanley Keith Jr., Waylon Keith, and Kristina Sparks. Later on in life, Tammy met her life companion, Mike. Together they would enjoy going to pool tournaments, the casino, as well as going on many adventures together. All throughout Tammy's life, she worked for Dairy Queen in Clinton.

Family was Tammy's true love and main priority. She enjoyed dancing, music, camping, and going on vacation with her family. She was a kind and loving grandmother and had no problem telling you how it is. She was someone you could always count on to be there for you. Tammy had faith and believed in God. She very much enjoyed taking her grandchildren to church with her.

Tammy was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Loretta Hoffman; divorced husband, Paul Handrahan; sister, Linda Beck; and one grandson, Thomas Keith.

She is survived by her two sons, Stanley Keith Jr. and wife, Amy of Custer City, Waylon Keith and wife, Mary of Clinton; her daughter, Kristina Sparks and husband, Jon of Elk City; 27 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; her siblings, Mary Gass of Sentinel, Charles Hoffman of Texas, Marsha Noyes and husband, Buddy of Burns Flat; along with a host of other friends and family who remember her fondly and will miss her greatly.
