Funeral services for Sherry Jo Fite, 44 year-old Weatherford, Oklahoma resident, will be held Thursday, July 3, 2014, at 2:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church with John Wohlgemuth officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Cemetery in Hobart, Oklahoma under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Sherry was born July 24, 1969 in Hobart, Oklahoma to Roger and Karen (LaFever) Fite and passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2014. Sherry was raised and attended school in Carnegie, Piedmont and Weatherford, Oklahoma. She graduated from Weatherford High School where she ran track and played basketball. Sherry attended school in Yukon, Oklahoma where she attained her cosmetology license and worked as a hair stylist at Fantastic Sams. She moved to Weatherford in 2006 and was currently working at Smart Styles. Sherry enjoyed reading, watching sports, watching movies, spending time with family and friends, and especially loved animals.

Sherry is survived by her father, Roger Fite and wife, Michelle of Edmond, Oklahoma; her mother, Karen Skinner of Weatherford, Oklahoma; one daughter, Kecia Walker of Dallas, Texas; two sons, Caleb McNeely and Adam McNeely both of Weatherford, Oklahoma; four brothers, Bryan Skinner and wife, Sage of Weatherford, Oklahoma, Troy Fite and wife, Jacie of Edmond, Oklahoma, Cody Skinner of Weatherford, Oklahoma, and Lance Fite and wife, Rachel of San Mateo, California; paternal grandparent, Troy Fite of Cordell, Oklahoma; and nieces and nephews, Savannah, Barach, Halle, Chisholm Skinner, Kallen and Kora Fite.
