Funeral services for Sherry Anne (Brooks) Crall, 56 year-old Weatherford, Oklahoma resident, will be held Monday, August 17, 2015, 2:00 P.M. in the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Lynn Brack officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.
Sherry was born November 6, 1958, in Woodward, Oklahoma to Roberts Bob and Joyce (Tilford) Brooks and passed away Thursday, August 13, 2015, at Weatherford Regional Hospital in Weatherford, Oklahoma. Sherry was raised and attended school in Hooker, Oklahoma and graduated from Hooker High School in 1976. She earned a Bachelor degree from Oklahoma State University in 1980 and earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma in 1983. On December 31, 1983, Sherry married Leslie Crall in Hooker, Oklahoma and they made their home in Weatherford. She served as Weatherford City judge for 20 years. Sherry was a member and served as president of FG Chapter PEO, a member and served as president of Kappa Kappa IOTA, and was a member of the Womens Guild in the Methodist Church. She enjoyed reading, counted cross stitch, her flower gardens, and her two dogs, Fred and Barney. Memorials may be made to the SWOSU School of Business or to the First United Methodist Church.
Sherry is survived by her husband of 31 years, Les Crall of their home in Weatherford, Oklahoma; her mother, Joyce Brooks of Buffalo, Oklahoma; her sister, Mary Jane Bentley and husband, Mac of Buffalo, Oklahoma; her three brothers, Jerry Brooks and wife, LaDonna of Guthrie, Oklahoma, Larry Brooks and wife, Tonya of Woodward, Oklahoma, and Terry Brooks and wife, Sonya of Buffalo, Oklahoma; mother-in-law, Jewrell Crall of Weatherford, Oklahoma; father-in-law, Lamar and Opal Crall of Hinton, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Bob Brooks.
