Obituary

Sherri Denice Buller was born in Cordell, Oklahoma on March 30, 1965 to Leonard Lester and Juanita Mae Allen. She passed away surrounded by family on May 31, 2026 at her home in Weatherford, Oklahoma at the age of 61.

Sherri was raised in Cordell and graduated from Cordell High School in 1983. She was a stay at home mom to her beloved children, Allen, Charli and James for several years. In 1992, Sherri moved her family to Weatherford and she began working for a non-profit organization - Weatherford Opportunity Workshop. She was a case manager for adults with special needs, helping them find independence.

In 1998, Sherri met Nathan Scott Buller. They were married in 1999 and this union joined their families together. She later enrolled at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 2003 and graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2007. Sherri briefly worked at the Weatherford Daily News as a Marketing Manager before deciding to stay home as a full-time grandma.

As the grandchildren got older, Sherri went to work at Empowerment as a family functional therapist. Most recently, she was working as a case worker for DHS. She dedicated her life to helping and counseling troubled juveniles and their families.

Sherri enjoyed shopping, especially thrifting. She also enjoyed food and cooking and was always hosting dinners and holidays. Having a full house filled her heart with joy. If she wasn't hosting, she still loved the company of talking on the phone or a video chat while she was doing things around the house. Sherri cherished the time spent with her family and adored her grandbabies. She will be remembered for her servant's heart and how she loved the Lord and sharing his Word.

Sherri was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Gordon Allen. She is survived by son, Allen Buller and his son, RJ; daughter Charli Aimes and her children Taryn and Talen; son, James Buller and his wife, Brooke and their children, Roman and Shiloh; brother, Daniel Allen and his wife, Rhonda; and brother, Wayne Allen.

A memorial service for Sherri will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the Chapel of Lockstone Funeral Home. Her final resting place will be at Salem Cemetery in Rocky, Oklahoma.
