Sharon Faye Bearpaw was born January 16, 1947, in Oklahoma City to Wilbur Lawrence and Virginia Jean (Manuel) Cook and passed away Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Weatherford Regional Hospital, at the age of 75 years, 9 months and 11 days.

Sharon was raised in Anadarko, Colony and Hydro. She attended school in Cowden and Colony. In 1960, Sharon married Olan Howell and made their home in Connerville, OK. They moved to Oklahoma City in 1963, where they raised their family. Sharon and her parents later relocated to Weatherford and Sharon worked for Littlebird Nursing Home for 30 years and was a kitchen manager for Southwestern Oklahoma State University. In 1973, she married Dave Bearpaw in Clinton and made their home in Weatherford and later to Anadarko. In 1976, moved to Hydro and settled in Weatherford again in 2020. Sharon enjoyed cooking, singing, embroidering, her flower gardens and sending time with family, friends and grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Sharon is survived by two daughters, Donna Horn and husband, Marcus L. of Hydro and Jeanie Spain and husband, Steve of Weatherford; nine grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, John Howell; grandson, Marcus L. Horn, Jr.; and great-granddaughter, Nevaeh Horn.
