Ruth Mary Delozier was born on September 6, 1949, to Garland Stalnaker James and Thelma Jo (Derr) James in Clinton and passed away at Homestead of Clinton on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 having reached the age of 73 years, 9 months, 21 days.

Ruth was raised and attended school in Custer City. She married Russell Dean Delozier in Wheeler, TX on November 13, 1972. Ruth enjoyed playing cards and dominoes; loved angels, unicorns and any animals. She volunteered at pet adoption events.

Ruth is survived by her dog, Starlight. Preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Martha Ann James; and son, Joe Dean Delozier.
