Funeral services for Rusty Hartsell 63 year old Weatherford, Oklahoma resident will be held on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church with Earl Stephenson officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home of Weatherford, Oklahoma.

Rusty was born on March 13, 1949 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Lon and Audrey (Lowe) Hartsell and passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2012, in Weatherford, Oklahoma. Rusty graduated Grandfield High School in 1967. Rusty went to Oklahoma State University for one year, and then went to Southwestern Oklahoma State University getting his Bachelors in 1971, as well as an M.B.A in 1989. Rusty married Judy Leppke on September 12, 1970 in Wichita Falls, Texas, and then made their home in Weatherford, Oklahoma. Rusty ran his own Texaco service station, then worked at 3-M. Rusty then worked at W&W Real Estate and the Oklahoma Tax Commission, and Associated Real Estate until starting Rusty Hartsell Appraisal Service and Hart Sell, Inc. Rusty enjoyed spending time with his family, grandkids, and children. Rusty was a member of Kiwanis International, a Deacon at First Baptist Church, the State of Oklahoma Home Inspection Board, the Grand Marshall of the SWOSU Homecoming Parade, and the Announcer of the Regional Special Olympics Track and Field Meet.

Rusty is survived by his wife Judy Hartsell of the home, two sons; Brand Hartsell of Weatherford, Ashley Hartsell and his wife Amy of Weatherford, one brother; Bob Hartsell and his wife Susie of Woodenville, Washington, 4 grandchildren; Braden, Lauren, Gunner and Maci, and his mother in-law, Mary Leppke, all of Weatherford, Oklahoma, as well as many close relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one nephew Clayton Langley Hartsell.
