Roy Lee Fisher was born June 1, 1934, in Watonga, to Willis Leroy and Nina Lea (Scott) Fisher and passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at Weatherford Regional Hospital having reached the age of89 years, 3 months and 7 days.

Roy was raised in Watonga and Thomas, graduating from Thomas High School in 1952.  After graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving during 1953-1954.  On November 11, 1955, Roy married Janice Raff in Custer City and made their home in the Thomas area.  He ran a dairy farm for 14 years, from 1973-1987.  When he retired, they moved into Thomas.  Roy enjoyed fishing, camping, listening to music, and watching baseball and football on TV.

Roy is survived by his wife of 66 years, Janice of their home in Thomas; three sons, Alan Fisher and wife, Tracey of Sayre, Jamie Fisher and wife, Debra of Burns Flat and Troy Fisher of Thomas; one brother, Johnny Fisher of Watonga; fifteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Billy; one sister, Norma; one son, Wayne; and one daughter, Beth.
