Rowen Lou
Robison
May 5, 2019 – March 16, 2022
A Celebration of Life for Rowen Lou Robison, 2 year-old Amarillo, Texas resident, will be held Monday, March 21, 2022, 10:00 A.M. with Glen Blood officiating. Services are under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home of Weatherford, Oklahoma.
Rowen was born May 5, 2019, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Christopher Charles and Micah BreAnne (Steffensen) Robison, weighing 3 lbs and 3 oz, and passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo, Texas. The family moved to Amarillo in August 2021.
Rowen was diagnosed with a rare genetic condition in her first year of life. Since birth she spent numerous stints in and out of hospitals. Even though she was sick, she never let anyone know. Her character and personality were nothing but joy, pure happiness. She rarely fussed and smiled big, smiles all the way to her eyes. She fought hard from day one.
Rowen's life is proof of the power of joy. Even in the hard times of pain and suffering joy ruled and shined bright. The joy a child brings into this world is over powering and what we need more over. Rowen knew what we needed. We did not need to teach her about love because she came with the uncorrupted and pure love from our Father in Heaven. She brought a stronger and deeper faith into our household. It was through her that we found Mercy and Grace of Jesus Christ. We will forever miss her, but we will always praise God for our time together.
Rowen is survived by her parents, Chris and Micah Robison and 5 year-old brother, Oliver Robison of their home in Amarillo, Texas; maternal grandparents, Bentley and Jamie Steffensen of Amarillo, Texas; maternal great-grandparents, Don and Leta Steffensen of Weatherford, Oklahoma; paternal grandparents, Butch and Penny Robison of Weatherford, Oklahoma; aunts and uncles, Kevin and Nacole Coker and their children Case and Cade of Roanoke, Texas, Brodie Steffensen of Amarillo, Texas, Harper and Kelsie Scofield of Amarillo, Texas, Shelby and Kim Robison and their children Drake and Paige of Canton, Oklahoma and Joni and Bode Bond and their children Hayes and Layne of Canton, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her paternal great-grandparents, Grant and Opal Denton as well as great grandparents Merlin and Verlyn Robison; and maternal great-grandparents, James and Mary Avant.
