Otis Rodney McPhearson was born on May 29, 1961 in Taft, Oklahoma to Jimmie Cecil and Vonda (Ruckman) McPhearson and passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

He was raised and attended school in Weatherford, graduating from Weatherford High School with the Class of 1979. Rodney earned his Bachelor degree from SWOSU in 1985, and later earned a Master Degree from Wesleyan University in Bartlesville in 2011. He married Angela Foster on January 1, 1994 in Clinton, Oklahoma and they made their home in Weatherford until 1998 when they moved to Tulsa where he worked for WorldCom, EDS, ConocoPhillips, Cimarex and was currently employed at Matrix Service Company in Tulsa. Rodney enjoyed riding his Goldwing Motorcycle, and animals (dogs, horses, birds, and raccoons).

Rodney McPhearson is survived by his wife, Angela McPhearson of the home in Skiatook, Oklahoma; one son, Michael Foster of Edmond, Oklahoma; two daughters, Michelle McPhearson of Collinsville, Oklahoma and Rachel McPhearson of Skiatook, Oklahoma; one brother, Ricky McPhearson and his wife, Teresa of Weatherford, Oklahoma; one sister, Radonna Sawatzky and her husband, Terry of Weatherford, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Amy, Stephanie, and Nathaniel Edwards, Bret Foster, and Ashlyn Cotter. He was preceded in death by his parents.
