Funeral Services for Robert Lee Guerra, 63 year old Weatherford, Oklahoma resident, will be held at The Chapel of Lockstone Funeral Home on Saturday, June 20, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. with Doyle Warren officiating. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Robert Lee Guerra was born May 13, 1952, in Sterling, Colorado to Arthur Guerra and Lois Medrano. He passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at the VA Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Robert was raised and attended school in Carnegie, Oklahoma, graduating from Carnegie High School in 1970. He joined the United States Navy in 1970 and remained active until 1974. Robert married Jeanne Marie Flaming on March 29, 1975 and together they raised two children, Russell and Julie. He worked in film production at 3M for 25 years and later worked at Mars Petcare for 10 years, before retiring in 2010. Robert enjoyed fished and spending time with his grandchildren.

Robert is survived by his wife of 40 years, Jeanne Guerra of the home; his son, Russell Guerra of Weatherford, Oklahoma; his daughter, Julie Brown of Weatherford, Oklahoma; his mother, Lois Reyes of Weatherford, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Jordan and Jarrett Schultz of Weatherford, Oklahoma; his brothers, Richard Guerra of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Roger Guerra of Weatherford, Oklahoma; and his sister, Karen Melton of Weatherford, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Jessica Schultz and his father-in-law, Eugene Flaming.
