Funeral services for Robert Jason Bob Lewis, 79 year-old Weatherford, Oklahoma resident, will be held Thursday, May 16, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church with Pastor Earl Stephenson and Bob Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Bethany Cemetery, south of Weatherford, under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Bob was born south of Weatherford on December 18, 1933 to Charles Jacob and Helen (Snow) Lewis and passed away Monday, May 13, 2013 in Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Bob was raised and attended school south of Weatherford in the Colony area and graduated from Colony High School in 1951. On February 9, 1951, he married Nelda M. Sanders in Hobart, Oklahoma and made their home south of Weatherford. In 1952, they moved to Borger, Texas where he worked at Phillips Petroleum. They returned to Weatherford in 1969 and Bob worked at 3-M. He started Southwest Fence Company and built fences for over 45 years. Bob failed in retiring 5 different times, he just couldnt stay away. Bob enjoyed being with his family and grandchildren; working; trading sheep; and having coffee and visiting with friends.

Bob is survived by two daughters, Bobbie Tippens of Weatherford, Oklahoma and Celia Scott and husband, Gerry of Del City, Oklahoma; one sister, Sue Roush of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and two grandchildren in infancy.
