Rick was born July 26, 1947, in Weatherford to Harvey and Jane (Maytubby) Bell and passed away Thursday, January 28, 2021 in Integris Canadian Valley Hospital in Yukon having reached the age of 73 years, 6 months, 2 days.

Rick was raised and attended school in Hydro, graduating with the Class of 1966.  On June 9, 1966, he married Jolen Hoerman and they made their home in Weatherford.  Rick played basketball while attending Southwestern State College.  They moved to Yukon in 1976 where he farmed.  In 1994, he started a carpet cleaning business that he was still active in.  Rick enjoyed fishing, loved basketball especially the Thunder's, cookouts, and spending time with family and friends.

Rick is survived by his wife, Jolen Bell of their home in Calumet; three sons, Todd Bell of Calumet, Jeff Bell of Yukon and Tadd Bell of Calumet; one brother, Paul Bell and wife, Karla of Yukon; and five grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Bill; and one sister, Sandra.
