Raymond "Scooter" Scott Wallis was born December 5, 1958, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Raymond Clayton and Merel (Wallace) Wallis and passed peacefully away Friday, May 10, 2019, at home south of Weatherford, at the age of 60 years, 5 months, and 5 days.

Scott grew up and attended school in Mustang, Oklahoma. He tried his hand at a variety of occupations. He worked as a packer in a chicken plant, worked maintenance at 3M and built buildings for Sawatzky just to name a few. He finally found his calling when he earned his Journeyman's in electricity and landed a "sweet" job with the oil field refineries.

Scott was very creative and enjoyed working with stained glass. An adventurer at heart, he lived in Oklahoma, Texas, California, Colorado, and Utah. Scott saw life as an adventure and always looked to the future. He was optimistic, patient, and creative. He had a great sense of humor and was always quick a joke and a sparkle in his eye. He wore so many hats... husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, mentor, teacher, neighbor, friend... he was a friend to many and many will miss him.

Scott is survived in death by the love of his life, Diane (Henderson) Wallis, his five children and eleven grandchildren, Patricia and Sean Jahla, their children Kyrston Jahla, Taaron Jahla, and Mylan Jahla; David and Jackie Wallis; Christina and Cody Elmer, their children Jackson Bridges, Levi Elmer, and Deven Elmer; Jennifer and Kyle Mitchell, their children Alex Bridges, Charlie Bridges, Mikey Mitchell, and Drake Mitchell; and Brian and Jasmine Wallis, and their child Zade Wallis.
