Funeral services for Patty Jo Howard, 85 year-old Hydro, Oklahoma resident, will be held Friday, December 16, 2016, 3:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church in Hydro with Rev. Joe Sanders and Rev. Truman Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Hydro Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Patty was born August 19, 1931, in Aledo, Oklahoma to Paul and Margaret (Corn) Bowser and passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2016, at Maple Lawn Manor in Hydro, Oklahoma. Patty was raised and attended school in Clinton, Oklahoma, graduating from Clinton High School in 1948. On June 26, 1949, she married Glendon Earl Howard in Clinton, Oklahoma. They made their home south of Hydro where she worked alongside of her husband on the farm. They moved to Redrock in 1974 and later to Perry. Patty was manager of the Mels Clothing Store in Perry and Stillwater. They returned to Hydro in 1999. Patty enjoyed playing cards and dominoes, baking, making candy and spending time with family and friends. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Hydro.

Patty is survived by her son, Mark Howard of Stillwater, Oklahoma; her daughter, Vickie Meacham of Hydro, Oklahoma; two brothers, Paul Bowser, Jr. and wife, Linda of Bethany, Oklahoma and Troy Bowser of Yukon, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Brett and Becky Meacham, Brock and LaNae Meacham, Kizzy, Marcus and Joseph Howard; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, John; sister, Pauline; daughter-in-law, Janetta Howard; and son-in-law, Monte Meacham.
