Pamela Kayleen "Pam" Scanlon was born October 27, 1953, in Weatherford to Arthur C. and Namie (Hoock) Penner and passed away Sunday, August 9, 2020 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, at the age of 66 years, 9 months and 12 days.

Pam was raised and attended school in Weatherford where she graduated with the Class of 1971.  She worked in retail and management for 31 years with J.A. Brown, known as Dillards.  On October 27, 1991, she married Michael T. "Mike" Scanlon in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.  Pam started her own business, buying and selling antiques, retiring in 2016.  She enjoyed going to garage sales and was so creative to turn her purchase into something great to put in her booth.  Pam kept the legacy of the "Hoock" name alive through the annual family updates and always enjoyed their monthly gatherings.  She will be missed by all that knew her.

Pam is survived by her husband of 28 years, Mike Scanlon of their home in Oklahoma City; one brother, Jim Penner and wife, Elaine of Weatherford; nieces and their husbands and children, Erin and Matt Bernett and Carter, Kyler Roper and Asher and Logan, and Tisha and Todd Franz and Sawyer and Rawley; and a very special aunt and uncle, Bert and Floyd Dalke.  She was preceded in death by her parents and one niece, Shae Penner.
