Funeral services for Olla Rook McRae, 94 year-old Weatherford, Oklahoma resident, formerly of Sentinel, Oklahoma, will be held Monday, May 11, 2015, 2:00 P.M. in The Chapel of Lockstone Funeral Home with Kelly Smith officiating. Burial will follow at 4:00 P.M. in Sentinel Cemetery under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Rook was born February 23, 1921, in Sentinel, Oklahoma to Ned and Jean (Higginbotham) Thomas and passed away Friday, May 8, 2015, at Weatherwood Living Center in Weatherford, Oklahoma. Rook was raised in Sentinel and attended school in Sentinel and Oklahoma City where she graduated from Classen High School in 1939. She married William Bill McRae in Amarillo, Texas and made their home in Sentinel, Oklahoma. Rook owned and operated Something Special, a gift shop, in Elk City for 10 years and later for McClure Funeral Home in Sentinel. She enjoyed music, reading, going to Branson, Missouri, painting ceramics, and spending time with her family. Memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church in Sentinel.

Rook is survived by two sons, Tommy McRae and wife, Norma of Del City, Oklahoma and Danny McRae and wife, Jeanne of Weatherford, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Jennifer McRae, Kasey McRae, Lindsey Hodges and husband, Michael, Travis McRae and wife, Emily, Brandon Bell; and three great-grandchildren, Davin Hodges, Easton Hodges, and Liam McRae. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and one sister, Nancy.
