Nona Pauline Hunt was born November 18, 1926, in Fay to Benjamin Franklin and Francis Edna (Humphrey) McDonald and passed away Monday, April 15, 2024, in River Valley Nursing Home in Clinton, at the age of 97 years, 4 months and 27 days.

Nona was born November 18, 1926, in Fay to Benjamin Franklin and Francis Edna (Humphrey) McDonald and passed away Monday, April 15, 2024, in River Valley Nursing Home in Clinton.  Nona was raised and attended school south of Fay and later attended school in Thomas. Nona married Perry Dean Hunt on December 21, 1948 and they made their home in Thomas and Fay.  To this union they had two daughters, Nola Dean and Lana Jean.  Nona worked at Deck's Grocery for 25 years.  Nona enjoyed quilting, playing cards and Dominos, her church choir, spending time with family, friends and grandchildren.  Memorials may be made to a church of your choice.

Nona is survived by her daughter, Nola Burchett of Thomas; one brother, Don McDonald and wife, Peggy of Decator, TX; two grandchildren, Jay Christensen and wife, Gina of Ft. Cobb and Julie Glasscock and husband, Brad of Thomas; three great-grandchildren, Brenna Yoder and husband, Caleb of Weatherford, Jaclyn Glasscock of Thomas, Tera Mattocks and husband, Tyler of Norman; and two great-great-grandchildren, Jaxon and Kennedy.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Lana; and three brother, Erva, Kenneth and Benny.
