Graveside services for Neva Belle Pulis, 91 year-old Oklahoma City, Oklahoma resident, will be held Saturday, August 23, 2014, 10:00 A.M. at Eakly Cemetery under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home in Weatherford, Oklahoma.

Neva was born April 22, 1923, in Eakly, Oklahoma to Floyd Owen and Lillie Rowena (Lewellen) Clear and passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at Grace Living Center in Bethany, Oklahoma. Neva was raised and attended school in Eakly, Oklahoma and graduated from Eakly High School in 1941. She married Leon Houston Pulis and made their home in Oklahoma City. Neva did upholstery work with Gulf Stream International for over 30 years and also owned and operated her own business. She met and married Alfred Shrum and made their home in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Neva retired in 1992 and later worked at Newcastle Casino. She was a devoted mother to her sons, Jerry Glenn and Matt. Neva enjoyed dancing, bowling, traveling, and spending time with Matt.

Neva is survived by her son, Matthew Pulis of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; her foster son, Franklin Smith and wife, Earlene of Oklahoma, City, Oklahoma; her brother, Lester Clear and wife, Lois of Eakly, Oklahoma; her granddaughter, Neva Marie Davis and husband, Walter of Jacksonville, Florida; and her two great-grandchildren, Walter Calvin Davis and partner, Stephen Graham of Chicago, Illinois and Angela Marie Crosson and husband, Richard of Savannah, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; five brothers, Chet, Joe, Bob, Roy, and Marvin Ray Fuzzy Clear; two sisters, Louise Harris and Ethel Mae Buie; two sons, Jerry Glenn and Leon Houston Pulis, Jr.; one daughter, Rebecca Lenn; and great-great-granddaughter, Madison Marie Crosson.
