Funeral services for Nena Trent, 95 year-old Weatherford, Oklahoma resident, will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. in The Chapel of Lockstone Funeral Home with Pastor Earl Stephenson officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery under the directions of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Nena was born January 17, 1917 in Putnam, Oklahoma to Lambert and Ethel (Cheatham) Holladay and passed away Monday, June 4, 2012 in Corn Heritage of Weatherford, Oklahoma. Nena was raised and attended school southeast of Custer City, Oklahoma and graduated from Custer City High School in 1934. On October 10, 1937, she married Luke Willie L.W. Trent in Clinton, Oklahoma and made their home in Leedey, Hammon, Wichita, Kansas and in 1957 settled in Weatherford. Nena operated the Trent Dry Goods Store and Trent Fabrics before retiring in 1979, working beside her husband. She was a terrific mom to her sons, Luke and Winston. Nena enjoyed hand work, flowers, reading, sewing, and genealogy.

Nena is survived by two sons, Luke Trent and wife, Linda of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Winston Trent and wife, Janey of Carnegie, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Kevin, Jobey, Marsha, and Cindy; and four great-grand-children, Jill, Dillon, Ashton, and Devin. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one brother, Joe; and three sisters, Eula, Opal, and Sally.
