Morgandy Leigh
Hartman
July 12, 2017
Morgandy Leigh (Miller) Hartman was born November 3, 1983 in Weatherford, Oklahoma to Larry and Marsha (May) Miller and passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2017, in Weatherford, Oklahoma. Morgandy committed her life to Jesus Christ and was baptized October 2, 1994 at age 10 at Pleasant View Mennonite Church.
Morgandy attended and graduated Thomas-Fay-Custer school in 2003 where she was active in FFA, Choir, and FCCLA. Following high school she went to Hesston College in Hesston, KS then Southwestern Oklahoma State University where she graduated in 2007 with a BA in Social Work. She completed her internship at OU Childrens Hospital in Oklahoma City, and was a social worker at Weatherford Regional Hospital. Morgandy always had a heart for animals, from cats to dogs to horses, and throughout high school and college worked at Heartland Animal Health Center in Weatherford. Morgandy and Wes met in 2003, attended college together and were married September 27, 2008. They have 3 children: Noah (age 7), Tucker (age 6) and Molly (age 2). She recently began working at Life Fellowship Mothers Day Out. Morgandy loved her children deeply and gave anything and everything possible to make their lives the best she could. She read book after book to them, played ball, tractors, dinosaurs, dressed doll babies and danced with a tireless energy that will never be replaced.
Morgandy loved her littles at Mothers Day Out and frequently donated items from her house for the MDO children to play with and enjoy. Every evening had a story about the children she worked with. We pray she made an impact on the children that they will remember for the rest of their lives. Morgandy constantly thought of everyone but herself and met everyone with a smile. Be it through small gifts, constantly shopping for Christmas or simply giving a hug at just the right moment, she will be dearly missed.
Morgandy is survived by her husband, Wesley Hartman of their home in Weatherford, Oklahoma; two sons, Noah and Tucker Hartman; one daughter, Molly Hartman all of the home in Weatherford, Oklahoma; her parents, Larry and Marsha Miller of Weatherford, Oklahoma; two brothers, Newton Miller and fianc, Carrie Kliewer of Hydro, Oklahoma and Stenson Miller and wife, Amanda of Thomas, Oklahoma and their children, Widney and Wyatt; maternal grandmother, Martha May of Hydro, Oklahoma; aunts and uncles, Mike and Lori May of Chelsea, Alabama, Delbert and Pat Penner of Weatherford, Oklahoma, Roger and Sandy Miller of Ashville, North Carolina, and Gene and Carol Nikkel of Yukon, Oklahoma; parents-in-law, Darwin and Cindy Hartman of Elida, Ohio; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Derek and Savannah Hartman of Hugoton, Kansas; and numerous other aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, J.W. Dub May and paternal grandparents, Allen and Lorene Miller.
Donations can be made to Pleasant View Mennonite Church, memo Morgandy Hartman Family to fund the childrens future, and Morgandys Littles at Life Fellowship Church.
