Graveside services for Mildred Pauline Wilbourn, 90 year-old Weatherford, Oklahoma resident, will be held Monday, April 8, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Greenwood Cemetery with David Lawrence officiating, under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.

Mildred was born July 12, 1922 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Thurston and Bessie (Tippitt) Deming and passed away Monday, April 1, 2013 in Corn Heritage Village of Weatherford, Oklahoma. Mildred was raised and attended school in Mangum, and graduated from Mangum High School in 1940. She received an Associate of Commerce Degree from Mangum Junior College in 1943 and a Certificate of Commerce Degree from Southwestern Institute of Technology in 1944. After retiring from teaching, Mildred worked at BancFirst in Weatherford. Following her position at the bank, she was manager of the Gourmet Kitchen.

Mildred was the Director of the Women on Missions and Leader of the Prayer Warriors at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Weatherford, Oklahoma. Mildred loved to cook, read, and listen to stories about her family and friends. Mildred loved her church and had a passion for spreading Gods love through missions. Memorials may be made to the Emmanuel Baptist Church Missions Program.

Mildred is survived by a cousin, Thelma Halloway; very special friends, Dana Nickels and Maxine Adams; and her church family. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
