Graveside services for Mildred Tennie Cobb, 86 year-old Weatherford, Oklahoma resident, will be held Friday, September 16, 2016, 10:30 A.M. at Clinton Cemetery with Chaplain David Worsham officiating. Services are under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.
Mildred was born April 3, 1930, in Sulphur, Oklahoma to Harvey Hamilton and Edith Lillian (Tinsley) Ingram and passed Monday, September 12, 2016, at her home in Weatherford. Mildred was raised and attended school in Sulphur and Choctaw, Oklahoma and graduated from Choctaw High School in 1951. She moved to Weatherford in 1967. Mildred married Robert Cobb in 1977 and made their home in Weatherford. She worked for 3-M for 18 years, retiring in 1993. Mildred enjoyed quilting, traveling, cooking, and spending time with her family. She was also a member of the Eastern Star for 47 years. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society Breast Cancer.
Mildred is survived by two daughters, Jessie L. (Mars) Walling and husband, Alvin of Del City, Oklahoma and Rebecca I. Smith of Weatherford, Oklahoma; daughter-in-law, Susan Johnson of Woodward, Oklahoma; one brother, Harvey Ingram, Jr. and wife, Sue of Weatherford, Oklahoma; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Arlin Ingram; sister, Lillian Walker; and a son, LaDee Johnson, Jr.
