Michelle Louise Recker was born May 18, 1963, in Grand Rapids, Minnesota to Benjamin Glen and Elizabeth Louise (Andrews) Swankier and passed away Friday, November 4, 2022, in Weatherford having reached the age of 59 years, 5 months and 16 days.

Michelle was raised and attended school in Remer, Minnesota and graduated from Remer High School in 1981.  She married Mike Flood and they made their home in Weatherford.  Michelle worked at Kash 'N' Karry and Fast Lane convenience stores.  On October 25, 2004, she married Kyle Recker in Eakly and made their home in Weatherford.  Michelle enjoyed camping, garage sales, nature, arts and crafts, cooking and spending time with family and friends.  Plants and flowers may be sent to the Lockstone Funeral Home, 210 N. Michelle is survived by her husband 19 years, Kyle Recker of their home in Weatherford; one son, Matt Flood and Leah Corlee of Weatherford; one daughter, Marissa Flood of Weatherford; ex-husband, Michael Flood; one brother, Michael Swankier and wife, Cindy of Remer, Minnesota; two sisters, Diane Heinlen of Brainerd, Minnesota and Kathy Bauer and husband, Butch of Melrose, Minnesota; three grandchildren, Mayson Flood, Ashley Corlee and Ashton Corlee; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, John and DemitaJO Swankier; sister, Mary Jeanne and Don Welk; and brother-in-law, Rick Heinlen.
