Obituary

Mary Michele Hart was born February 28, 1962, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Jerry Thomas and Nita (Cooper) Zoeller and passed away Sunday, September 15, 2019, at home in Weatherford, Oklahoma, at the age of 57 years, 6 months, and 17 days.

Michele was raised and attended school in Oklahoma City and the family moved to Weatherford in 1975, where she graduated from Weatherford High School in 1980. On June 27, 1981, she married Kim Hart in Weatherford and they made their home in Hydro. Michele earned a Bachelor Degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. She started her accounting career with Chuck Page, later had a partnership with Glenda Long, and Joe Merchant. Michele was a very active member of the First Baptist Church. She was a member and served in multiple capacities of the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants, Kiwanis Club and was president in 1999 and also served as treasurer for many years, Weatherford Food and Resource Center Executive Board and treasurer, First Choice Pregnancy Care Center Board, Baptist Foundation of Oklahoma Board, First Baptist Church Stewardship Committee and treasurer, and Weatherford Chamber of Commerce. She was baptized in the Jordan River on her 2014 trip to Israel. Michele enjoyed reading, going to her nieces and nephews school activities, driving her Mustang, going out to eat with her "Friday Night" friends, and spending time with family and friends. Memorials may be made to Weatherford Food and Resource Center, First Baptist Church or to the ALS Foundation.

Michele is survived by her husband of 38 years, Kim Hart of their home in Weatherford, Oklahoma; parents Jerry and Nita Zoeller of Wichita Falls, Texas; two brothers, Greg Zoeller and wife, Vickie of Florida and Scott Zoeller of California; one sister, Suzan Campbell of Burkburnett, Texas; two brothers-in-law, Dennis Hart and wife, Sherry of Enid, Oklahoma and Chad Hart and wife, Becky of Kingfisher, Oklahoma; one sister-in-law, Tara Kay Kimble and husband, Brent of Yukon, Oklahoma; nieces and nephews; her cats, Sophie, Buddy and Blackie; and numerous extended family. She was preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charlie and Sylvia Hart and her cats, Squeakers, Lucky, Klinger, Brandie and Callie.
