Michael W. Sterbach

On March 24, Michael William Sterbach beloved son and brother went to be with the Lord too early at the age of 58 years old. Born in Williamsport, Pennsylvania moved with his family to Overland Park, Kansas where he graduated in 1982 from Shawnee Mission North High School and earned multiple degrees from Emporia State University (Business & Communications) in 1986.

Michael leaves behind a Mother Junita Jane Cook Sterbach of Emporia, KS, three brothers Nick A. Sterbach, his wife Julaire Sandberg Sterbach of Lenexa, KS, James A Sterbach Sr, his wife Shannon Cornelison Sterbach of Rogers, AR, and Mark C. Sterbach of Kansas City, KS and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father A. William Sterbach and sister Dana Lynn Sterbach.

Michael was a man of many talents. Sales and Leadership were strong qualities that he possessed, but his passion was for ministry. Michael was always an active member in his local church and enjoyed serving the communities where he lived. He lit up the room wherever he went and had a way of making others feel special.

There will be a Memorial Service to honor Michael's life at the First Baptish Church of Weatherford, OK on Thursday April 6 ^th at 10am.
