Michael Earl Johnson was born October 8, 1962, in Thomas, Oklahoma to Ronald and Janice (McLaughlin) Johnson and passed away, Sunday, May 27, 2018 at Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 55 years, 7 months, and 19 days.

Michael was raised and attended school in Hydro and graduated from Hydro High School in 1980. He earned his Bachelor degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 1984 and his Master degree from Wichita State University in 1987. Michael taught school in Oklahoma, Nevada, and Kansas. He was currently teaching school at Putnam City Schools. Michael enjoyed watching movies, architecture, reading, drawing, hanging around the pool, music, his cats, gardening, his grandson, Landon, and spending time with family and friends.

Michael is survived by his mother, Janice Johnson of Hydro, Oklahoma; his spouse, Ronald Logsdon of Yukon, Oklahoma; one son, Brenton Johnson of Edmond, Oklahoma; one daughter, Lindsey Hosier and husband, Blake of Shattuck, Oklahoma; one brother, Shaun Johnson of Weatherford, Oklahoma; one grandson, Landon; and numerous family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Johnson; paternal grandparents, Earl and Leona Johnson; maternal grandparents, Claud and Hazel McLaughlin and Lucian and Mabel Dunnington; great-grandparents, A.I. and Beth Hall.
